Arizona Workforce Connection is the actual name of the Arizona state workforce agency entity. You can access it online, and use to register for a login, and subsequently post a job order for a PERM Foreign Labor Certification case or other purpose.

But wait, the URL for the site has yet another name, “Arizona Virtual One-Stop“.

To be more precise, the Arizona state workforce agency has an entity called Arizona Workforce Connection. And the site they use for Job Orders is called Arizona Virtual One Stop.

The purpose most attorneys or employers have in asking us about this, is because they need to adhere to Department of Labor Guidelines that mandate they post a Job Order on the relevant SWA site.

(i) Mandatory steps. Two of the steps, a job order and two print advertisements, are mandatory for all applications involving professional occupations, except applications for college or university teachers selected in a competitive selection and recruitment process as provided in §656.18. The mandatory recruitment steps must be conducted at least 30 days, but no more than 180 days, before the filing of the application.

(A) Job order. Placement of a job order with the SWA serving the area of intended employment for a period of 30 days. The start and end dates of the job order entered on the application shall serve as documentation of this step.

So just to repeat this, -When seeking the Arizona State Workforce Agency, -unless you know to type in Arizona Workforce Connection, how can you even know which of the 7 internal agencies a.k.a. “partners” to go through?
