If the Petitioner (Employer) does have a SWA account, but cannot access it, are the Attorney and / or Petitioner willing and authorized to engage the SWA agency staff with our guidance?(Required)

(We understand it's preferred that our firm engage the SWA, but their agents are trained to only interact with Employers and Attorneys representing them during Account Recovery / Unlock procedures.) After the account is successfully recovered, we can step back in and complete the Job Order posting and the related Evidential Printouts.

Utah Unemployment Insurance:

A mandatory requirement for Registering for a Utah Department of Workforce Services SWA account is that the Petitioner / Employer must have a Utah Unemployment Insurance Number.

To Register for a Utah Unemployment Insurance Number with the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS), visit this page. Our company cannot facilitate the process of Registering a Business for a Utah Unemployment Insurance Number other than point to the general State website.

So if an Employer doesn't have a Utah Unemployment Insurance Number for some reason, they need to ENROLL for one by clicking here.

Also, the Attorney should factor this into the Recruitment Timeline, if the Petitioner and / or the State have to collaborate on getting an Unemployment Insurance Number officially issued, it could take at minimum 72 hours or as long as 2 weeks. Depending on the Expiration Date of the Prevailing Wage Determination, the Attorney may issue further direction to the Petitioner and request our firm go on Standby until the Unemployment Insurance Number matter is resolved.
